In December 2008 at the age of only 14 Renae Pearson was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in her leg.  What was thought to be an injury from too much dancing was actually a very aggressive bone cancer which is prevalent amongst teenagers.  To exacerbate matters after countless tests it was also found she had a secondary tumour on her lung and as a result commenced the ‘fight of her life’. As the primary carer for Renae and her Mother, Sharyn Andersen will give us a brief insight into the journey and amazing strength of this remarkable young lady and Renae will relate her story which now sees her celebrating 4 months cancer free.
